Thumbs down Missing features ???

I have a 2012 GX450h which I assume is 2nd generation and I cannot believe some obvious features(to me) that do not seem to be available, my dealer has confirmed this but I am not sure he really knows.
1. The windows will not open by holding down the UNLOCK button on the remote, for 5 or 10 seconds, or close by holding the lock button.
2. The drivers seat memory only remembers the last occupant, even when opening the car with the same or different keys.
3. The SatNav automatically switches to night mode at night, I prefer the day mode, surely there is an override.
4. Day time driving lights doesn't seem to be an option either.

Can anyone tell me if these are hidden features that only the technician can install or are they just not there.
I should add that it is a UK car, but I would think that some may be standard it there are indeed available at all.
Thanks for reading

1. The remote will open all the windows and even the sun roof (but will not close them). You may have to go into the settings.

2. The key fob has to be linked to the memory setting. Look in the owners manual.

3. This can be set to stay in any mode through the settings. Again, look in the manual.

4. By law driving lights must go on with the head lights and go off with the high beams.

Being out of the country there may be some setting differences.

What is a GX450h?

I'll admit to not looking in the manual yet for the window down feature by the remote but I do know how it works as I use it on our comapny GS all the time. It does not work on my 12 GX. I've been meaning to look in the manual but I keep forgetting.

If you put the headlight switch on auto, the daytime running lights will stay on.

You can turn the Daytime running lights off / on through the custom settings on the Nav.

You can turn them off from the turn signal/light switch.

Ok, I broke down and looked at the owners manual about the windows down with the remote. If it doesn't work you have to go to the dealer and have it programmed to work as per my 2012 manual.

Ok, had the dealer program my 12 GX to open the window via the remote. Hold down the unlock button and they all go down now. Service writer told me Lexus stopped programming that option through the remote because too many people kept thier remote in thier pocket and the button would be depressed, the windows will go down and you wouldn't know it. My dealer had a person put the windows all down and it poured rain all night in the windows and sunroof. He said it wasn't pretty.
