i don't think there is a difference in the side door (chrome) moulding with 2011 and 2012 premium models.

i believe 2011 base models came with no (chrome) moulding, only the premiums had it -

2012 models including Base now come with (chrome) moulding.

Looks like they added a new trim package "F Sport Appearance Package".

They only have F Sport accessories listed for IS. Cannot find the GX ones yet.

I wonder what the grille insert looks like ...

$1999 for f sport package includes wheels, logo grille, exhaust tip and logo mats. i would like just the wheels and grille if they look decent.

I was looking for the individual parts included in the package but could not find them on the Lexus site. Maybe in a few months Sewell will have them .

That is a good improvement.

BTW, does anyone have the compass on the rear view mirror in the 2010/2011 model? I think I read it somewhere but I don't have it.

Thanks Koz, good find! I just ordered a 2012 Premium model and these look like nice changes (although minor). I was hoping for the Lexus Entune option but no such luck.

I don't understand what they were thinking by not having the outside temp displayed on the 10/11 models. The compass is displayed on the nav screen. I don't see why it would need to be displayed in two spots.

The outside temp is displayed on the A/C screen. You need to press the Climate button to access it. Just like you have to press Map or Dest. to see the compass.

With temp/compass on the rear view mirror, you get to see them all the time. Just convenient.

I do agree with adding the temp display, but the compass is displayed on the nav screem (top left). I have the mirror (compass) display in my IS and I NEVER look at it, only the nav display. What they should have corrected was the STUPID location of the on/off button for the audio system!

Right. I have long legs so my right knee sometimes turns on or off the audio system by accident.

But that's not the worst. At one time while I was driving at night - all quiet - the steering wheel suddenly started buzzing and came towards me. You cannot imagine how startled I was. Turned out my left knee accidentally touched that tilt/telescopic button.
