Default Weird clunking issue....

This seems to be the best place for me to post this...I have a 2002 Sequoia, and I got this strange problem. When I drive at low speed, I can hear a clunking sound in the rear passenger side whenever I let go of the gas pedal. It is more noticeable when at lower speed. It sounds has if something is unbalanced or its hitting something.

Anyways, yesterday I decided to change my rear brake pads and to my surprise one of the wheel stud from the rear passenger side broke off. Long story short I changed the stud, and replaced the brake pad. Later that day I start to hear the clunking sound again. Today I jacked up the rear and noticed my rear passender wheel was loose. I thought that was the problem, so I tighten the wheel up but still can hear the sound.

It seems like something is causing that clunking sound and its also causing the lug nuts to come loose. Has anyone experience something like this? I have no clue what it could be.

The issue does not have to be exactly for a Sequoia. This is a general issue for almost any car. I just happen to post it on here, because its in an SUV class.

Sequia or not, this seems to be a big safety issue you are having of potentially loosing a wheel. You are a danger to yourself and people on the road. Take the truck to a dealer for proper diagnostics and don't drive until you have the problem resolved.
