Just bought a gx460! Anything specific I should do for reliability?
Just bought a 2015 GX460 premium with 55k miles on it. It’s spent its whole life in Oregon, so no rust. Previous owner took it to Lexus of Portland every 5-7k miles. I’ve attached the carfax. Super stoked on it, it’s awesome!! Open to suggestions on whether I should add a can of liqui-moly engine flush and do a fresh oil change. Last one was only 1k miles ago, but I want to be able to feel confident and thought it might be a good idea for me to have a “fresh slate” with the engine. Open to ideas!
at that age all fluids should have been changed so if they have not you should.
A new serpentine belt can’t hurt. Rubber degrades despite of and sometime more with less use and more time.
my personal rules of thumb:
plugs-100k
oil/filter-5k
grease driveline-5k
diffs/ transfer case-30k
coolant-50k (100k on v6 Toyotas)
trans- drain/fill-30k
belt-100k or 8 years
brake fluid- every 2 years
power steering-50k. (Maybe sooner on GX given the difficulty of replacing the rack.)
air filters-30k or less if dusty conditions

... 10-year old vehicle ... no matter the miles, I change all fluids and filters to baseline frequency and the specific products used ... no matter the maintenance history. +1 on serp-belt ... cheap insurance.
OK so the warning here, I am one of the "over maintainers." I tend to conduct more stringent service intervals when compared to factory timeframes.
I was in the same boat as you when I purchased my 2015. I opted to "baseline" some things.:
New oil & Filter, power steering flush, transmission service, coolant change, 3 diff fluid changes, engine and cabin air filters, secondary airpump filter replacement, Throttle body cleaning, MAF cleaning.
Like you, I had the carfax. My GX came from a "soccer mom," and they were religious about dealer servicing every 5k, which did make me feel good, but knowing how I am, I had to do more. LOL
Coolant flush is important! Coolant gets acidic over the years which causes valley plate leaking etc. I know I know..."long life coolant.." ehhh coolant is cheap in the long run compared to a valley plate redo. (I'm picky!)
I'm also running Valvoline Restore and Protect right now. I had a little varnish on the dipstick. It's gone, so I know that specific oil is doing something. I went to amsoil powersteering fluid and diff fluids. 75W-90 in all 3. The only thing I'm holding off on is brake fluid. Brakes will be due soon, at which time I'll tackle all that.
Thats just my 2 cents! Congrats on the purchase. You will LOVE the vehicle.

Congrats on the purchase, 2 months ago I purchased the same beast, 2015 GX460 Luxury, but with 77k miles in the exact same color as yours, this is what I did the last months to start from fresh if this helps you:
Front Rotors
All four brake pads
Rear shocks (KYB Excel-G with AVS of course)
Rear shocks cushion boots top and bottom
Drain and fill of transmission fluid with Toyota WS
Replaced the transmission filter and Oring
Replaced the Front, Rear diffs and Transfer case fluids
Engine oil and put inside BG MOA and EPR
A can of BG 44k into the gas tank
Serpentine Belt, Tensor and Pulley replacement
All 8 spark plugs
PCV Valve
Removed the crappy OEM secondary air injector and replaced with the Uni Filter
Cleaned my the sunroof drains and put silicon grease on the rubber seal
Put silicon grase on all my weather seals (I used ShinEtsu) btw it made a HUGE improvement on quietness in the cabin, it was already quiet but the change was very noticeable.
Replaced cabin air filter and replaced with an active carbon one, air intake filter and cleaned the throttle body and my MAF Sensor
Drained the coolant and replaced with fresh one
Replaced the brake fluid
Cleaned and lubed with white lithium grease the front and rear height sensors
Performed a cleaning and hydratation to the leather seats (I always use Leatherique on all my cars and have a bottle of the pristine cleaner to clean them from time to time)
Did a nice paint polish and waxing, I use a synthetic wax once a month.
Everything OEM except the secondary air filter
And after all this I have a fresh record of everything.
Will redo everything according to what the service manual says, and as a rule of thumb for me I always change my oil every 4k miles no exceptions.
Before the GX I had a GS which I treated the same and is still strong close to 200k
