Replacing CV axles
Well the same clunk noise has returned after two days. Sounds like it's coming from the driver's side but I guess it could be coming from the passenger side cv axle that I haven't replaced yet. Needless to say I'm disappointed.
I know my outer sway bar bushings need replacing so that might be the answer.

Aw dang. Maybe links. Sometimes having the truck jacked up a bit for a while can “fix” noises like that until they settle back in to their bad spot.
if you have a grease needle could pump em full of new grease as a ‘test’ or temp bandaid as a way to see if maybe it stops clinking again.

I FIXED THE CLUNK NOISE. The rear bolt on the front left lower control arm wasn't torqued fully. I got another half turn out if it before it hit 100 ft lbs. Clunk is gone!
Makes sense now. When backing out of a parking space, the forces on the arm were just enough to make it shift suddenly, causing the noise. If I backed out really slow though, it wouldnt clunk.
Looks like I didn't need new cv axles after all.
If you get this type of noise, check your lower control arm bolts first!
