Default Back-up lights; brighter replacements

Has anyone successfully replaced the backup lights on a 2019 (or similar)? Mine are so dim as to be worthless, especially when relying on the camera.
1. There are many MUCH brighter LED options, but the size of the bulb matters. I've replaced the bulbs on other SUVs (Suburban) I've owned.
2. How the heck do you get access to the bulb? Does anyone have a pointer to some directions? Has anyone done it?
3. Sometimes the reduced power usage of the LEDs triggers the SUV to think the bulb(s) are burned out.
Thanks all,
Bob

I've installed these in my 2016 Lux - work great. These are "error free" and have some sort of chip or something to prevent the warning lights - I've not had any issues and it's been two months or so.

Amazon Amazon

I did mine from below - but you can do them from above - you just need to remove the tail light assembly and reach down.

moving from oem to aftermarket lights my concerns usually are:
1)qc and reliability
2)no hyperflash
3)interference with rear view cam

If you like the "bob" as a yardstick, his sponsored posts have something on yt.

I've had none of those issues with the aftermarket leds for backup, rear and front turn lights, high beams, and interior. The brand I stuck with is Auxito.

^ ... to QC and Reliability (and Design) ... I stick with Sylvania/Osram ... been in the automotive lighting business for the last century ... versus many fly-by-night "companies" that are all about slick web site development and slick product packaging, while selling cheap no-name bulbs from mystery manufacturers for a premium price.

Relay can be easily changed out to deal with hyperflashing for any LED upgrade.

I've had every brand of LED that I tried fail except Philips. Have not used Sylvania/Osram (that I remember) but I suspect they will be the same as Philips, reliable.

^ ... agree 👍

... many no-name bulbs boast huge light output, but don't worry too much about the controlled dispersion of light or heat management (bulb life).

if you want brighter and also want to use the stock locations you can change the oem rev bulbs and then run a wire up to the turn signals, install a swicthback there.
will have a lot more light.
