Default Front/Rear Diff & T-case service question

I have a stock 2021 GX 460 with 31K miles, and am going to service the front/rear diff"s along with the T-case. I was wondering if I will have enough room to service all three without the GX being lifted up or will I be able to do the job on just level ground? Appreciate any thoughts on the matter. Also wondering if anyone is running anything other than Lexus oil products to do these and if so, what.

It would be a bit of a squeeze under a stock truck, but manageable. Taking off the front skid to access the front diff may be the most challenging. Rear diff is super accessible and you can get to the transfer case from the side.
As for oil, GL-5 gear oil, is recommended option. I use valvoline synthetic 75w-90 since it comes in a convenient squeeze pack, making the filling process pretty easy. You can use the same oil in your transfer case according to
, I have been using the expensive toyota 75W oil since I got some on sale a while back.

^ ... agree ... rear diff and transfer case are easy, but may need to bust some yoga moves for the front diff. On the front diff ... the plugs can be difficult to remove, so remove the fill plug first (as always as a procedure) ... these plugs must have a dissimilar metal challenge since they can be close to impossible to remove, and have a relatively shallow 10mm allen ... so make sure to use a good allen socket, and that it is fully engaged before attempting removal. I always replace the drain plug with a Prado hex bolt style that can take huge torque without rounding. The drain plug is the one I have always experienced as being a #@!! to remove.

Good tip re the drain plug. I replaced the drain plug of the front diff with this one from KAON. Also, remember to pick up some new crush washers. GXBob lists them on his how to vids.

Use a jack to get the front up just a touch will help. Wheels still on the ground but lifting it like an inch or two will make a huge difference. There is an exhaustive thread about this topic that has plenty of tips and tricks to help ensure your success.

... Agree, the KAON plug is a thing of beauty ... top-notch quality and strong ... could put a mega impact gun on this thing and it would not even blink.

I did 30k and 60k Diff and transfer case on level garage floor, not an issue at all.

I used RavenOil from blaupart you can specify and get the oil you need. I ordered the washers from Lexus parts online with other parts when they have sale

Also, would like to know dealer service cost for both diffs and transmission fluid change?

Did front diff and the transfer case not so long ago. I used Readline 75W-85 for front and OEM for the transfer case. Rear diff service is pending.

... Both Differentials at 5,000 miles, 10,000 miles then every 30,000 miles. Transfer Case at 10,000 miles then every 30,000 miles.

Appreciate all the responses. Think I will use Valvoline 75w-90 front and rear diffs and Redline MT-LV GL-4 75W for the T-case.

They typically charge 2X the retail price for fluids ... with all three probably quoted at 1.5 Hours Labor @ $150 per Hour (typical Dealership average) = $225.00 Labor plus the cost of getting ripped off on fluid upcharge.

NOTE: I would not use the OEM for the rear differential. The dealership wanted over $80 a quart and it takes one and a half quarts!!! that is just an uncalled for ripoff. And that's just for the fluid. I do my own service on such things...OEM for the transmission semi drain @ $16 is acceptable, and since it is a semi drain I would not mix fluids either way
