AC wont save previous settings
Need help, every time I start the car the AC take about 15 sec to turn on, and the temperature setting reset to 75degree. Is there a way I can fix this small issue?
Normally the AC turn on right away and my temperature stay at the setting I left it.
Ive heard about this issue a lot on other Lexus models but not the GX. Has anyone ever experienced this ?

Check your battery connections and/or battery condition. I've experienced this (resetting to 75*). It was after a month-long repair (warranty Transmission swap) - so it might have been a sagging battery or dirty terminals. Cleaning and securing the battery terminals seemed to resolve in my case. I think the extreme voltage drop during cranking and a corroded terminal causes the A/C computer to reset (but the main ECU must be more tolerant of low-voltage conditions). I didn't do anything else to resolve my issue. Subbed for your RCA.
PS - You can also run AC Diagnostic mode (no OBDII scanner required) and see if you have any reported issues/codes.

Funny you should mention the Battery. I replaced my upper control arms the other day and had to remove the battery and I believe this is when everything started.
I’ve run the a/c diagnostics and have code 97 (a/c amplifier). I’ve gone down that rabbit hole and checked every fuse and some even say it’s the cabin filter installed incorrectly . Im very hands on and do not let people work on my vehicles.
I’ve checked all the servos and everything is working properly. It’s a mystery .
Here is some more information.
throughout the day when I’m in and out of the vehicle , it will remember my previous settings upon startup and everything is great. (Still with code 97)
if the vehicle sits for more than an hour , it will not remember my settings .
I just cleaned my battery terminals as the positive cable was pretty corroded and I’ve got a timer set at one hour to see if anything changes upon startup .

Just an FYI - For my problem with the 75* issue, I never got a code. Hoping the battery thing might help - but with the code 97, I'm thinking it might be more complicated. Sending positive beams towards your GX!
