Help
Hi I was driving (2011 Lexus gx460)and my knee accidentally hit the central differential lock and was middle of traffic so couldn’t disengage it right away. As I was driving smoke started to come out but pulled over in time and it stopped once I was able to turn off the central differential lock. Car smells burnt but driving like nothing happened is this something I should be worried about?

Yes, the manual says to unlock when on hard surfaces but unless you are making a lot of turns, the drivetrain would not be binding up. Where you making a lot of turns? Also why didn't you just push the button to unlock?
I am skeptical that the smoke has anything to do with this. Where was the smoke coming from?

smoke was coming from rear and i was pressing it to turn off but was flashing and had to youtube it reversed it and it turn off and smoke went away. I was on the free way when this occurred so no turns at all which i found odd. The button was stuck and wouldn’t let me turn it off
