New here. I recently purchased 17" TRD wheels from BAM Wholesale for my wifes GX460 which btw was a great deal at $900. I've been thinking of putting BF Goodrich K-02 AT tires for $1300 but recently visited Mavis Tires who quoted me $900 for their "Mavis Mountaineer AVT". They told me that the K-02s are warrantee to 50k miles while the Mavis is 70k miles. Pic of the TRD wheels and Mavis attached (different size).
Do your research ... Mavis ... established in 1998 (an infant in the tire world) ... and do not even manufacture their tires ... they do private label from a range of mystery manufacturers ... so don't go there ... no clue as to what you are actually purchasing.
Tires last 60,000-odd miles these days ... so the cost-per-mile math clearly argues to purchase the best from an established manufacturer ... like Michelin / BF Goodrich (same company) or Toyo / Nitto (same company) ... etc.
Tires are THE most important component on a vehicle from a safety standpoint ... so for me is not the place to look for a purchase "deal" ...
Why not check Yokohama Geolanders g015 at or their newer at model(s), Continental, Michelin, Pirelli, Falken, Toyo etc.
Check out tire rack testing (videos) and reviews.
Personally, I chose the Yokohamas. Perform well in dry, wet and snow. Don’t know about sand or mud though. I have had a range of summer high performance, all season, at, and snow tires from Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental and Yokohama. All performed well and had good warranties. Continental and Yoko on my 2 vehicles now.

Cannot comment on the Mavis tires, but 100% agree, tires is the only thing holding you to the road.
I see too many cars spin out here in S FL, because people had bald tires and of course we also have by far the worst drivers in the world.
Don't skimp on tires. Buy a proven reputable tire. My wife's 3/4 RAM 4x4 has garbage cheaper AT tires and they absolutely suck. They struggle to get her out of our elevated gravel driveway without spinning. I know I see Power Wagons with proper AT tires that do the all offroad-y stuff and they don't suck.
