Default Flood Start Mode?

Is there an elegant way to "flood start" - turn the motor over with just the starter, and without ignition - these things? Some other makes allow the old school "hold the pedal to the floor while engaging the starter" to accomplish this, but that does not work on the GX.

Lord willin', I'm starting mine today for the first time in four months, and would like to move some oil through the thing before actually starting it. I think pulling the EFI fuse will accomplish what I want to do, but it's not terribly elegant.

I don't think I have ever owned a vehicle that supported "flood start". I typically pull the fuel pump fuse if I need to prime the engine but 4 months... I would just fire up and drive away, especially if it was garaged.

^Agreed. Fire it up. The synthetic oil wets the bearings well.

Jeeps do, or at least FCA-era Pentastar powered ones. They will leak down and sound like a box of rocks in an hour, though.
