I hate to ask this simple question here, however Google is not finding any answer.

Have a newly purchased 2023 GX460, Premium with Sport package. I received by GA Peachpass toll sticker, and it says it won't work on a magnetized windshield. I know this model has the heated windshield with the rain sensing option. I have seen a few lists of vehicles that do have a magnetized windshields, but the lists are 15+ year old. I can't not figure out or find out if this Peachpass can be read through the windshield or not.

I thought I would ask to see if anyone was using it successfully or not as don't want a bumper mounted, or stick it on the headlight. I assume Florida and the other states that accept it, such as Florida could read it to.

Not sure if this helps, but I put a FL/GA/NC E-pass on my '23 windshield and it worked fine.

We have FL SunPass in windshield, located in the blue toned right side of cameras, and no issues at all

 

I have EZpass right next to rain sensor since day one, no issue at all.

 

I have a 2018 and have both a Peach pass and EZ pass. Used it all up and down the east coast and never had an issue.

 

What exactly is a Magnetic Windshield? Never heard of it - and searching only seems to reveal magnetic Windshield covers for snow/ice. Genuinely curious

My 2017 has a TX EZ-Pass placed next to the rain sensor as well (in the dotted area). No issues...
