theres not a big desire to dig into this. the owners have insurance. the perps are across the world besides the local thugs doing the work. LE have better things to do than address this.

you need to remember im not saying this, LE says this. Why would you expect them to worry about a luxury vehicle? dont you see that many crimes are ignored now adays? this is part of why i live where i live. there are no local thugs where i am. hopefully you feel as safe as i do.

 

I thought YOU were condoning lawlessness, like our government does. If not then good on you. If you don't follow the narrative, they can reach you anywhere, e.g. IRS.

back to topic, havent seen any canbus attacks on gx, the gx is an extremely easy target and the post theft logistics network is mature
gx are highly sought for the ME sand races, the stolen ones are even more of a status symbol. dont need to get into why, if you dont know then just think about it a while.
Disable the keyless entry setup if you want to reduce risk. I would for sure if i was in canada or california.
consider a fuel pump disconnect, they have auto versions based on rfid tags.
