Curiously, the DRL indicator has diappeared from my display. I used to see the icon below when driving with the lights in 'auto' setting and DRL selected as 'on' in the system menu. Now the icon doesn't display, even though the DRL have been verified as being on. Anyone else experience this?

 

If I am not mistaken, this icon is for Canadian spec GX. For US spec, there is no separate DRL indicator, rather the headlights on indicator like a light bulb symbol. It will be only illuminated when you have the headlights or parking markers on either manually or automatically.

So the headlight bulb icon comes on just like always, but I used to have the other icon come on when only the DRL were on, but not any more

no, it;s just the icon in my original post that is now 'missing'.

 

Just to confirm, for everyone else, when your lights are on 'auto' and DRL are enabled, and it isn't dark enough for headlights to come on, there is no icon on the dash?

 

For US spec, that is correct. No light icons.
