I'm doing the same thing with my GX that I did with my 2019 4Runner: the day I get it home (supposed to be this weekend), the locks come off and go in the trash, replaced by the standard lug nuts. Wheel locks are the most useless PITA on any vehicle.

 

Last weekend during Toyota Black Friday online sales ordered 5 TRD Pro wheels and the new non SEMA center hubs. And 4 sets of black lug nuts to match the wheels. In part to get rid of the locking lug nuts on it now. If the new lug nuts come with one locking nut I'm ordering a 5th set. Last thing I want to do when changing a tire in the woods at night is fight with a stupid locking lug nut. And just realized when I sell the existing tires and wheels I can throw in the existing lug nuts and don't forget to add the keyed socket for them. Good riddance.
