Hello all -

I just picked a ‘23 Gx 460 (premium) and love everything about the truck, particularly the fit and finish.

There’s only one thing that I’m not too excited about and that’s the clear color tail lights. I would like to replace the tail lights with the red colored ones from the previous years.

I was able to locate a few OEM tail lights but the product description claims it would fit up to
model year 2022.

has anyone here replaced taillights from a 2023 GX.
If so, can you please direct me to the proper part number / details of where I can purchase a set.

I'm interested in doing this as well. The solid red looks by far the best (just my opinion), especially in the Eminent White. The previous post clarified which lights came with which years and trims, but not much else.

 

as far as I know, they are all interchangeable between the GX460 (LC150 platform) from 2010 - 2023, not sure there was a physical design change in the 2014 spindle grill re-design/face lift.

More seasoned member can confirm

 

Pretty sure the wiring connectors changed sometime around 2017. You'll need to vinyl or paint the 2023 tail lights unless you want to build a connector harness to work. Not gonna lie I love my 2010 for lots of reasons with the factory red tail light lenses being one of them. I hate clear lenses.

They're all the same. I have interchanged from '16s to '21. No brainer. My '21 Prem+ Sport Design is Claret Mica and had the solid deep red taillights---too much red. Wanted contrast, so I bought clear ones and sold my deep red SD lights. My '23 has the new Sport Design clear with black "framing" GX Bob does a good piece changing them on his YT channel.

Do anyone have a link or know where to get the all red, or the clear taillights with the black inserts from? Especially with Black Friday coming up.
