So i have some chips on the back bumper and was looking at the touch up paints online. Kinda confused here which one to order. The one on the right or the left or both.
You need both. Apply the Base Coat first, then the other. The Starfire pearl is a 2 stage paint.
Great info. I see a fair amount of aftermarket kits come as a 3 stage; base/top/clear, and I've read the best matching results are achieved by mixing the top coat (which I think is the 077 in this case) with the clear coat. I'm not sure on the ratio, maybe 1:1 or slightly less clear then top coat?

I have 077BC, 077, and 00C. 00C is clear coat. For Starfire Pearl I did not see a need for 00C. I think 077 is pre-mixed with clear coat. But you can always apply a touch of clear coat. For Mercury Metallic which is silver, I always apply 00C.

I ordered the touch up paint w/o clear and if it's not a perfect match I KNOW who to talk to!!
I think you're better off just applying the base coat. The top coat tend to have this weird tone that doesn't quite match the car. I had the same color on my Rx and the top coat never came out right.
