Key Fob Hack
Was reading about how the key fob can be hacked by copying the radio frequency by crooks. There are pouches that have a lining that prevents this, wrapping aluminium foil around your keys, metal boxes, etc., that you can place your keys. My question is has Lexus updated their technology that you don't need to worry about this?
It is still a prevalent issue, along with CANBUS injection attacks and the thieves physically breaking in and just programming a new key via OBD2 (presumably using Techstream). You can disable the key on a newer Lexus by holding the lock button and double tapping unlock. This mitigates the RFID attack. Your best bet is still to install a hidden killswitch.

There is an option in the vehicle settings to disable but I'm looking at '22 sheet here it no longer shows as user customizable within Infotainment

Perhaps one can test what @M4rk suggests above on a '22 or '23 model to confirm that is a way to toggle Smart Key On/Off?
