Basically they check the diff oil levels, check for leaks, and check that the oil is clear and not full of metal particles or milky from water contamination.
Unless there is visual leakage ... all good. I always initially change differential oil at 5,000 miles ... always black and full of metal particles. Beyond that initial purge ... your choice on change interval.
Understood that "Lease Flippers" don't care beyond their 2-3 year turn-in obligation ... but for long-term owners of a $60,000+ vehicle ... cheap insurance.

"High Tech Inspection" ... ?#? ... this is about as "Low Tech" as it comes ... other than possibly Windshield Wiper Blade inspection.
