Hi everyone! Did anybody ever replaced or messed with ABS/VSC ECU in 1st gen GX470? I’ve read about AndyMod 2.0 for Toyota 4Runner where you can install a switch to kill VSC and Traction when you need it but ABS will be still on. The ABS Module wiring on 4Runner and GX look the same so I decided to try if that works for GX. But it will be useful to know if that module is behind glove compartment or on the drivers side. Any info where it can be? Thanks!

Brake booster is under the hood on driver side right? You mean ECU is on the other of firewall? Cause o didn’t see any computers by brake booster. I’m looking for that thing on picture

Skid control ECU is by the parking foot brake just above it mounted by the left kick panel.

Yeah. Same connectors as on V8 4Runner. But there also should be ABS/TRC/VSC Control Module somewhere. The part number 89540-60300. It should exist otherwise dealers sell parts that GX470 don’t really need)))
