Blower motor change
Used the TYC replacement. A T25 bit was neccessary. Hard to access the rearmost T25 screw but got it done. The wire clip would not mate with the plug. Had to bend the prongs with a flathead a bit on the TYC unit to fit the clip. Unfortunately broke the "soft open" wire mount on glovebox on the reinstall. Oh well, she's a truck right? New unit works great and is quiet enough.

Did you break the actual plastic glovebox part? Do you have the broken chunk? Could it be crazy glued back together?
What were your symptoms of failure before you changed the blower motor, or did it just die?

Yes the bracket on the side of the glovebox broke and could probably be JB Welded back on. A project for another day for sure.
The old blower sounded like a bike wheel with playing cards in the spokes. Still worked fine but sounded like it was on its way out.

Could have just been some leaves got in there and it could have been cleaned out?
