I'm looking to buy a set of 2018 4 runner wheels and tires new take offs. Will the rims and tires fit. rim is 17x7 and tires are 265/70/17's

I have a 2004 GX470 I bought a set of gx460 rims and tires were 265 x 60 x 18 all around they fit just fine and I like the increase in wheel size as far as looks. I cant discern any ride difference. I don't know if that answers your question

the wheels fit, the tires are not the same size, stock size is 265/65-17 so there might be a small descrepency on the speedometer, speedomter shows 60 may be going 62

I'm looking at the same deal for my 05, 4Runner take offs. The wheels on my 05 have the corrosion and peeling issue and the tires are showing dry rot. Should be getting them this weekend.

Yup, the 4runner wheels should fit with those sizes.

Picked mine up today. About an inch taller than the 265-65's currently on it. Got a set of 18 4runner shocks and springs with them. The 4Runner was delivered with all aftermarket parts so these were never used. Now to find a replacement for the Toyota emblem in the center cap. Not sure if there is a direct Lexus replacement or even if there's a matching Lexus GX 460 center cap that will work.

Yep, they will fit.I added a set of TRD Wheels to my 06. Also have a 2nd set of 4 runner Alloy wheels. Both work fine. Photos attached in this link. I can't seem to upload photos today.
