Default what tires to get?

i have a set of 20" core racing rims from my moms old chrysler 300c, they have 275/40/r20. Does anyone know what tires i can put on the rims to make them fit? the rims are 9" wide i believe.

we need the year of your car for tire size, regardless the old tires are wayyy too big to work.

to be honest there's a possibility that the wheels themselves wont fit depending the tolerances involved in their manufacturer. the 300C has a PCD of 5x115mm and the LS uses 5x4.5 aka 5x114.3mm

That aside, here is a pic of a 430 with Dodge Challenger wheels:

I'm liking that.
For tires I really like my Good Year Eagle F1 GS-2's. Not a single complaint about them. Very quiet, holding up great, hold the road great. Good price point too.

that actually looks pretty damn good, melikes.

side note, the challenger has a 5x115 PCD too soo if those fit the LS430 without mods and your wheels are roughly the same tolerances, you should be fine

225/35-20 if you're lowered, or 245/35-20 if you're not for a stock 93-00 LS400 are teh correct sizes. 89-92 you'll want 245/30-20 since the stock tire size is smaller in OD.

damn... tried them on, they fit but the fronts would need smaller tires, problem is the rims offset sticks out far too much . Lol it looks like a pimp train, oh well so much for those rims. Btw the it was the 92 ls400. For the record the bolt pattern fit, so does this mean when i buy a set of rims they can be 115mm?

imho 20" is way too big for a stock 1LS. stick to 18s, maybe 19s. no, you got lucky the wheels even fit, buy the proper size: 5x4.5 aka 5x114.3mm, with hub rings for 60.1mm toyota hubs.

20" and 19" is a lot of wheel on those 1-LS stock brakes. No problem if they are in the 50# range but heavier will make the brakes work harder...as in longer stopping distances. 18" is a pretty safe range and even some OEM 430 17's will be a nice on there.
