Well. I just got a new to me gx. Coming from a Wrangler unlmited. Needed something more reliable but could still wheel in it. Luxury features don’t hurt either.

Ok. I did s ton of searches on here and h8mud and I can’t find the answer.

I have a 2005 sport with air suspension in tact. I’d like to lift it a couple inches so I can put some bigger tires on it. Is it possible to do the lift and not have to replace the rear suspension just yet? I will eventually but the previous owner just replaced the air bags.

Thanks guys. I’ve been on these two forums for hours and have already learned so much. Stoked to get my truck where it needs to be.

Yes, it’s poasible to “trick” the rear bags to lift it. It will ride like crap though. Bags were designed for comfort, not to flex and wheel reliably.
