Mark Levinson amp repair
I had the amplifier failure. Dealer fix was about $1000 to $1400. I couldn't find same amp online and that was a risk of getting a bad or weak amplifier used.
So I opted to send in my amplifier to a guy on eBay the one in New Jersey for $425. He did a great job with fixing my amplifier and I saved hundreds sending it in myself.
Just sharing an an option as our vehicles age and things go bad.

Ive been thinking of trying this guy on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-MARK-LE...sid=m570.l1313
$150 for a refurb amp. Listing has been up multiple times, so seems like something that is fairly regular.
I haven't fully completed my testing to figure out if its an amp or if its a single speaker that is bad. Pretty sure its the amp. I'll be buying one of these refurb amps more than likely.

I think it was this eBay ad:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-Mark-...sid=m570.l1313
It would be nice to know the secret of what they do to repair it. Something like open it up and replace a diode or fuse?

I sent mine into United Radio in NY. I believe they are the only authorized auto ML amp repair shop. They said my fuse, resistors and etc. where bad so a new board had to be installed. Cost was about $450 with 1 year warranty. Still going strong.

Wanted to contribute this tidbit
My 2003 GX470 ML Amp 86280-0W140 blew two of the MOSFET Amps on the circuit board, I purchased and soldered on two new MOSFETS that i ordered from China. Reconnected and the AMP still did nothing. The Diag screen showed DSP / AMP OK but no audio.
I was pissed and assumed that I would need to send my unit out, or go spend $500 on a refurbished unit.
I trolled my local craigslist and found a 86280-0W040, which is from the LS430, went to meet the seller, plugged unit in and speakers came back on. Apparently there is some compatibility between these units. I am assuming there is more interchangeable then this. But right now it seems to me that 86280-0W040 = 86280-0W140 = 86280-0W141. So that should suck a little less, since OLD LS430 parts are easier to find.

Nice try on the repair.
Would be be nice to know what component needs to replaced. It is likely something relatively simple since the repair place fixes same day and send it back.
