I hopped in my car after returning from a business trip last week and found that my Mark Levinson amp decided to die on me. I am looking for a place that can repair it. I know that this is something that happens with these amps. Can anyone make recommendations?

I should mention that I called United Radio in NY that some others recommended on CL. The repair price of $375 a couple of years ago is now $575.

New from Lexus is ~$1250 US. Used looks to be running about half that on eBay. Might be easier to just get a used one since the price of repair is pretty close to a replacement junkyard unit.

Strange the cost of repair is so high, usually amps are pretty straight forward to fix.

I talked to a repair tech today from another shop and he said that the ML parts are abnormally high. I found a used unit, but it is $625. Not much I can do other than pony up the money....
