Dome/Courtesy lights fuse instantly blowing
2003 GX,110k miles. After a long road trip, my fuse blew for the interior and courtesy lights. I tried to replace the fuse and it blew instantly. Any ideas for common shorting areas or any troubleshooting I can do?
I don't know if this matters but when I first replaced my map lights to LEDs, I shorted the fuse because I was using a metal screwdriver like an idiot to pop the bulb out. But I successfully replaced all the door and overhead bulbs with LEDs. It worked fine for 2 months until this road trip. From some research, I've seen that the driver side visor is a common failure point and some people just cut the power to this light. Any tips on how to remove the housing on the driver visor to get to the wires to cut power as a test?
Thank you.

Thanks, this is a good idea. Would it be out of the ordinary to have the LED lights work for a couple months but then all of a sudden start being problematic?
