Default Speedometer Correction

Has anyone corrected their speedometer after installing larger tires?
My speedometer is off by 4 mph with 285/70/17's

Most likely it was off with the smaller tires as well. Most manufacturers under clock the speedo by a few MPH to err on the side if caution.

There's a thread on the 120 forums about a gizmo called a "speedohealer". You splice it into the speedo wires and set the correction factor. That's the only method I know of.
