Default Input on new tires...

I have the 7 spoke platinum edition chrome rims and the recommended size are 225/55R16 94V. Would it be possible if I get tires that are 225/55R16 95H?

I don't see why not.

The only difference is the load index and speed rating.

Load Ratings
94 = 1,477 lbs
95 = 1,521 lbs

Speed Rating
H = 130 mph
V = 149 mph

I would personally go with the V rated tires unless you had already purchased the H rated tires.

There is a $315 price difference for a set between the 2 and the V being the more expensive one. I can't really afford expensive tires at the moment. I am a college student using the car for daily driving and do not exceed 80mph.

Ahhh. College student here as well.

Do what you can money-wise. The only difference is speed rating and load. The V rating may also handle better as the sidewalls should be a bit firmer.

At this point, get what you can afford.

Getting what you can afford is going to be safer then running on bald tires. They are different load ratings, but my question is do either of these sizes start with a P? Either way the tires will work, but you may need to add a couple of lbs. Of extra air pressure.

they will be fine. as others have said the load/speed ratings are different but for $315 cheaper i would definitely go for the H rated tires.
