I have a cold fresh air intake made be volant, but I really noticed a improvment when I added the exhaust.

Here is a side shot. It is lifted 3" with 305's on 22's.

If you take the heavy chrome 22's off and put on some lighter wheels & tires you will get even better gains but hey 20% isn't bad with that setup! We did the same Volant, sounds great under load

The wheels are really heavy. I can't wait to switch to my winter wheels and see what kind of millage I might get. I expect to get around 25 mpg easily on the highway. I used to get 22 with just the intake.

It definitely isn't muscle car loud but I wouldn't go as far to say it is VERY quiet. The factory air box and stock exhaust are VERY quiet, hence changing them to Volant and Borla. It is now still QUIET at idle but not VERY quiet, no where near VERY quiet in my mind. A Hybrid is a very quiet vehicle, a Lexus with an air box, exhaust and a V8 is not very quiet.

Does this dual exhaust system fit right onto a 2004 as well, as I know the '05+ models have a slightly different engine (well more HP that is).
I noticed on the Borla website, Amazon and a couple other sites say it is only compatible with 2005+ models and not the for 2004 4Runner, which I assume has the same engine as the '04 GX.

Actually, never mind. Found it:

What was the best price you guys found online or anyone with hookups here? =P
