Default Replaced battery now Power Windows don't work

I had to replace the bulb on my drivers side headlight in my GX and in doing so had to take out the battery. Everything went fine until I put it all back together, turned the car on and now my drivers side window controls don't control the other 3 windows in the car. AND none of the windows are performing the auto down function. If it matters the little green light on the window switches themselves are blinking.

Just to summarize:

1. Took battery out
2. Put batter back in
3. Drivers side Power window switches don't control other three windows.
4. Drivers side switch controls drivers side window
5. All switches control their individual window
6. No switches are performing the auto down function

And yes, I checked to make sure they weren't locked.

Help please. Thank you

Checked my manual and have searched battery windows, power windows, etc. Can't seem to find anything on a solution. Any ideas?

You need to lower each window one at a time by actually holding the switch (not auto up/down) and then raise the window up. You need to do this in the following order (on the switch on each actual door, not the master panel)...driver's, front passenger's, rear passenger's, rear driver's. I may have mixed up the last two, but you will be able to tell since the switches won't work unless done in the proper order...hope this helps! BTW, you need to do this every time the battery is disconnected for more than 5 minutes, for future reference.

There is a link in the 2nd gen IS FAQ that will help (looks like nm has it above already). May also need to do it on moonroof.

Ditto on the sunroof - all the way open and hold down a few secs, and all the way closed and hold a few secs (I think). Otherwise it doesn't know where "open" and "closed" are. You'll also have to reset your navigation region.

I was trying to figure out what it might cost to order a new master window control set, and this advise worked like a charm. THANX again!

Confirmed!

This method did the trick. I did the following:

1. Pressed the START button twice to put the car in the on the ON position (radio on)
2. Went to passenger side pressed and HELD the control button till the window was 100% down, then pressed and HELD till window is 100% up
3. Went back to Driver Master Control and tested.
4. Repeated steps 2 & 3 for rear windows individually

Good luck peeps!
