What is a 2004 GX 470 worth?
Thinking of selling my 2004 GX 470. Trying to find out what would be a fair price to ask for it.
38,500 miles, Nav/Lev package, Rear seat entertainment, 3rd row seating, Factory 6500lb hitch and ball mount, Almost new Michelin Cross Terrain tires, Lexus stainless exhaust tip, Exact mats clear floor mats. Has every option Lexus made in that year.
Car is Gold with Ivory interior.
I do not have a clue what it is worth. I have seen prices all over the place and I am trying to find out how much to ask for it.
It is as clean as new and drives just like the day that I bought it. I am in LAX area of Los Angeles.
How much should I ask for it? Thanks, Skip

Depending on the service records you have I would say list it around 35-36k. Will probably sell for around 33-34k provided it is in pristine condition. While shopping for mine I looked at several. Some were in the 29-32s but were beat up pretty good already which tells me the maintenance was probably not completed as scheduled.

Car looks brand new inside and out. No kids, dogs, cats or junk food. Service done by Lexus. Would not sell it, but my wife says that we do not need four cars. In a perfect world, I would have a 10,000 square foot garage with 20 to 30 cars and a few boats and flying toys. I am allowed to dream. Skip

My car arived in October or November of 2003 and it does not have a backup camera.
I was told the wireing is there for one, but I never checked.
I have one in my IS350 and I never use it. I am to stupid to figure out if I should look forward or backward when backing up ! Skip

I paid 33k for an '04 loaded with everthing but RSES about eight months ago. The car is a more desireable color-black/tan-and only had 20k miles on it. This also was in LA...
That said, I know I got a smokin' deal and I think that you should still be able to get anywhere from 32-35 for it. I just depneds on the buyer.

Skip - your truck is averaging about $32,500 (as of last week) at dealer auctions so I think you could realistically expect to get about $34,000 to $35,000 for it on a private party transaction assuming clean title and no body/paint work. Listing it around $36k or so is pretty competitive considering dealers are probably going to ask in the high $30s to low $40s for the same vehicle (albeit theirs may be certified).
