i mentioned in one of the threads that they still make the base GX. well not anymore! the one i saw in the display, had only a 3rd seat, but for a price of $45k (before it was w/o 3rd seat) and the 3rd seat is not an added option. just food for thought!!!

my understanding is that the 3rd row will now be a no cost option.

According to the 2005 brochure, the third row seat is listed as a option either with RSES or as an individual option, which includes the rear A/C.

while this may be true - I can bet that it will be impossible to get one here in the Northeast without the 3rd row..therefore many dealers are being instructed to include it as a N/C option.

Actually, I'd bet it's a mandatory option. It won't be N/C, everyone will have to cough it up.

3rd seat is not optional becuz the one i saw had the 3rd seat only, but it wasn't under add'tl options.

Are you talking about a 2004 or are you saying you've seen a 2005 GX window sticker?

05s should be rollin in around this week, as per my sales person.

i'm guessing it's the same story for both, the last of the 04s and the 05s, that should be rollin in.

OK, thanks. Although I'm not in the market for a 2005 GX, hopefully, the Sports Package cosmetics will look better in person than in the brochure.
