I have a 2007 GX470 with Nav and the volume **** on the head unit stopped working a couple weeks ago. If I turn the ****, the volume level displays on the screen, but it does not change. Steering wheel controls work as normal.

Anyone else run into this issue before? I'm considering spraying some electronics cleaner around and behind the **** to see if that will help.

 

I'm going to guess your amp has died. They are very model specific if you are going to look for a replacement. I've also seen people ship them away to be repaired, but I don't have any contact info I can provide, you'll have to do some searching. Check out the GXOR group on FB, lots of owners sharing experiences there.

 

Everything is back working now. Just wanted to post an incase anyone else runs into this problem. I loaded some wet gear in my GX and some water got on the volume know, after about 15min of erratic behavior, it now works again. Wish I knew what fixed it, but I'm glad it works again
