My GX does not have the Nav system so everything is physical buttons. Whenever I want to adjust the speed of the climate control fan, I have to really push hard on the up or down sides of the button and hold it down for it to increase or decrease. Is the button itself just going bad, and how much/hard is that to replace?

 

Certainly sounds like a worn out button. Non-nav HVAC controls are in huge demand as they are required to convert nav trucks to non-nav, so don't expect to find a used unit for cheap.

It's possible it could be taken apart and cleaned somehow, but I'm not familiar with the innards to provide any guidance here.
