Default Hitch wiring harnesss

Just installed an aftermarket hitch, unfortunately where the 7-pin plug attaches makes it about 3” too short to connect to the wiring underneath the vehicle. I need a harness with two prongs to two prongs to bridge the gap. I quick look online and it doesn’t look like there is anything that would bridge the gap.

any ideas?

See if ETrailer has a 7-pin harness.
I doubt anyone will have an extension.

Nothing out there that will work. Got some wires and will have to manually extend the OEM harness

Simple to do.
Get some "marine" shrink tubing from HF.
Do inline wire twisting (not twist tie style, more like a shallow angle X.), use soldering iron to solder the joint (less is more, etc). Let cool, push heat shrink over, heat it.
Will last a lifetime.
