Android touchscreen update
I added the Phoenix system to my 04' back in October. I love it. Audio is just as good as stock. I am planning to add 360 cameras soon. My car didn't have a stock Back up camera so I added that. The screen makes the truck look 10 years newer inside. Great addition. I picked up an open box from Phoenix for $500ish.

So you think the audio is on par with the OEM. The Mark Levinson system is great, and I am loath to downshift audio quality just to have a touchscreen. They've dropped the price to about $600. Hard to see a quality amp, screen, & processor for that - but it is Chinese.
I just bought one and it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. It's the PX6, six core, 4g RAM, 32g ROM, Android 9 fast boot, listed $999, open box $626, found a promo code somewhere, bought it for $509 with free shipping from CA. Three week delivery though.
I hate the OEM system, don't own a CD or a cassette, miss bluetooth and carPlay. Adapts to the ML amp system so figured I'll give it a shot. I do like the look of it and every other option is much pricier and difficult to convert to, plus look like they are rigged into it.
I'll update once I get it in and set up.

It came in, looks nice, definitely plug and play, all the harnesses are pre made. The only additional wiring I think I need to do is to cut in a step down transformer in order to use the OEM backup camera. OEM requires 6v, the unit supplies 12v. Still looks a hell of a lot easier than to replace the cam, stay tuned.
So far I'm not overly impressed. The unit looks nice but is having several issues:
HVAC controls (buttons on the face, not virtual) not working, unable to change anything from these buttons, no use of defrosters, temp change, auto or off from these buttons.
Virtual changes fan speed and on/off/auto but doesn't allow temp to change from 69F
Wifi keeps dropping out, while the unit keeps switching on tethering and it's own hot-spot everytime the car play app tries to load
Sound quality not very good
unable to change temperature units on display from C to F
