One showed up today. The housing and all look very nice, even though it was packaged like garbage. I was surprised that it didn't break in shipment.
When I called to ask about the other shipment for the other side, 'Jesse' said that it would be here tomorrow (Friday).
I also told her about the poor packaging. She will pass it along to their 3PL warehouse. She did say that if there was / is a problem, they would replace it at no charge. They would just need some pictures.
They sound like they are easy to do business with.
When it comes to something as important as actually being able to see at night I think OEM is the way to go. I believe the Sport headlights are actually cheaper than non-sport and they will fit just fine. I just don't trust that the aftermarket lights are properly molded so that the light is be cast out correctly. Maybe Depo is close, I have no experience with them. In the overall scheme of things, OEM isn't THAT much more than aftermarket.
BTW, no affiliation with them, just a quick google search.
Rock Auto lists the CAPA certified non-sport headlights for $250. You can get sport OEMs for $270. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Wow. I can't understand why the sport OEM are so much less expensive then the non-sport. Maybe I should save the non-sport, have them cleaned up for $80 and sell them on...

I just got my OEM's and they were lightly packaged in box then lightly packaged in another box. Them being light is the only thing saving them from typical shipping abuse.
You can get good results from the stock Koito projectors. Added a clear lens and got rid of the squirrel finder thing above the cutoff. Threw in a HID H11 bulb. I probably could have tuned them more but I have no patience.
