I painted my grill and have everything back together except for the rod that connects to the latch at the grill. There is a hole for it to go in but there is no way to make it stay unless I’m missing a clip, etc. Thanks for any help or part number.

 

No idea what part you're talking about. Maybe you can post a photo?
