Default Need suggestions for interior LED issue

Hi everyone,

I followed a great thread here on replacing the interior lights with LED's including the diff lock switch and heated seat switches. Not amber indicator lights but the green ambient light. None seem to work. I got the 3mm T-1 Neo wedge led's and I am getting power to all the switches and fuses. The LED's will simply not light. Am I missing something simple? Lexus would like for me to leave it with them for the day so they can diagnose.....I don't want to do that. It's a 2006 GX470. Happy to answer anything I may have left out, just going back out to see if I can figure out anything in the meantime.

Thank you!

What was the issue? It would be nice to have it documented in case someone else has the sane problem in the future.

Of course. The lights I ordered from Superbrightled's were a little cumbersome to put in the bulb sockets. At least they were for me. They are just large enough that it is quite easy to mar them up while inserting them. That, coupled with the fact that they are polarity sensitive led to me managing to somehow find every conceivable way to put the bulbs in except the correct way. I blew a fuse in the interim and it was just a nightmare. I was working on it late and probably would have been smarter to just walk away and start fresh in the morning. But I continued on and finally got the lights I had replaced working.
