Something I noticed
The other day I was looking at the back of my GX and the back of my wife's RX330, and noticed 2 "missed" details between the 2.
One is (and I think someone mentioned it before) that the bumper protector (where the door opens) on the GX is plain, and on the RX has "LEXUS" stamped on it.
The other that I thought was more strange is that the GX (maybe the LX too) is the only vehicle in the line up without a chromed exhaust tip. I'm going to see if the RX tip fits and then decide if I like the look.

I noticed that as well. I wondered if it was left off because the truck was more of an "off road" truck like a land rover disco - so they didnt need it to look too polished. Who knows. Do disco's have chrome tips?
You might want to check out this thread. I'm looking to add a chrome tip to the exhaust also.

I know that Toyota offers an accessory chrome exhaust tip on the 4Runner, I'd assume it would fit the GX as well. I don't have all the details on it, but I'm sure you can stop by a Toyota dealer to check one out.
I also noticed the Lexus logo was missing from the bumper protector. Also the chrome tip exhaust. Maybe they're reserving these stuff for a refresh look for the years to come. Like the rx300, at first the rx300s didn't have a bumper protector until 2001. They also didn't have a nav system. And also, something you wouldn't really notice is that in the 01 rx300s, the rear seat has a single flip up cup holder. They're reserving these stuff for the refresh models.
