Brake Calipers advise, please.
Hello,
I need to replace my front brake calipers. I found this:
https://parts.toyotasouth.com/p/__LI...775060261.html
1) Do you guys know if this is a good price for one brake caliper? Also, will this fit my 04 GX470? The part number is the same as in Lexus shops. Do you know where I can find it cheaper?
2) Is there any good aftermarket caliper that is of a quality no worse than OEM with a better price?
3) I also found this:
https://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-S2766-Brake-Caliper/dp/B0793JVD8B/ref=sr_1_3?_encoding=UTF8&pf_rd_i=B004CGPQ7A&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=d235545f-f19b-4498-980c-0fcb35dc026d&pf_rd_r=6XMKWG0DHGKVM7N3Z07Z&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_t=1601&qid=1560540133&s=automotive&sr=1-3&vehicle=2004-75-1038-20--9-6-8-4691-1780-7-1-2229-116-2&vehicleId=2&vehicleName=2004+Lexus+GX470
Is this any good compared to OEM? Has anyone tried PowerStop calipers?
Please, help. I would really appreciate your help!
Thank you.

Stuck calipers are a common issue on these trucks, the cost of a rebuilt set are probably less than or the same as rebuilding existing set...check it out...they seem to be exposed and vulnerable to the elements up front...seize and then pull to one side.
If you already need new calipers, and were planning on doing new rotors as well, look into the GX460 front brake upgrade. 2010 spec GX460 calipers and rotors are all that's required to upgrade, pads are the same. I've replaced about 3 front calipers in the time I've owned my GX470 before I made the change.

I found calipers on rockauto.com
Cardone and Raybestos caught my eyes. But they are remanufactured.
Any advise on remanufactured calipers?
They have:
Coated - Cardone
Daily driver - Cardone/Acdelco
Economy - Raybestos.
Should I get any of these or remanufactured are not good? I also don't understand what the daily driver/economy mean.
I did not find professional or performance calipers on rockauto.com
The ones I mentioned above have at least 18-24months warranty.

I was taking a look at those today. I don’t see an issue with them. I probably wouldn’t buy them if I were towing a 5,000 lb trailer daily... but they should work without an issue.
Thank you.
I'm thinking of getting this from my local NAPA. Looks like they have the same Cardone in stock if I'm not mistaken. It's a bit more expensive but no delivery fee, plus if anything is wrong, I can take it to the store easily. It's also easier to bring my old one to get a core price back. Although, they don't have a powder coated one. But I guess the powder will disappear later anyways.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Whats the local auto parts house charge?
They are $65 on parts geek. That’s cheap.
Just ordered from them with no core charge $75.00 total. It's not the one that is powder coated ultra caliper as in your screenshot. They still don't have one that is ultra for the left side. I hope the only difference between ultra and the one I ordered is the powder coating.
Thank you!
