Dead Battery and Won't Charge
My '07 GX died today. Drove to work. All is well. Come out to go home and no lights, no crank, no click, no nothing.
Hook up battery charger at 50 amps and all I get is the lights in my dash flashing a few times and this weak beeping horn sound back in the
engine area. And then the charger quits. Red is on Positive, Black on Negative. Charger kicks on again. Get that weak beeping
horn sound not coming from the horn and I then see this red key shaped light flashing in my dash console.
Any suggestions?

That red key light blinking is your immobilizer.
That will flash if it doesnt see a key in the ignition.
It's weird that I didn't get any warning. Usually I experience a couple of times where it slowly cranks a few days prior to dying.
Is the funky beeping just the immobilizer warning sound?

Check for interior lights left on, doors not fully closed, etc to try and figure out why the battery would have gone dead. If it's really cold where you are, consider bringing the battery indoors to warm up and leave it on the charger overnight, a frozen battery won't take a proper charge, and a dead battery will freeze.
Wife called and said car was dead after she came out of work.
Replaced it right away after it tested "marginal health".
Didnt want to take a chance on that one.
I've had this happen to another vehicle. What I think occurred is I drove over a speed-bump and it broke off one or more of the lead plates inside the battery, and it fell to the bottom, shorting out the adjacent cells.
Time for a new battery.
