Ok as i understand it the maintenance required light means i have driven so many miles without changing the oil. My question is how do i turn off said light? What triggers the light to go off after an oil change? Or does it have to be cleared somehow. I had to clear an engine code due to the fuel cap(which went away), but the maintenance light remains. Any insight?
