I have 2007 GX470. A few days ago it started a beeping noise coming from the left dash. It's a constant loud beep, but will do intermittently as well. There are no warning lights on. It seems to happen when I am stopped or coming to a slow roll. It happens immediately when I turn the car on and it's still in park. Once I start driving a little ways, it goes away. It will do it again as I am pulling in to the garage, pulling in a parking space or coming to a stop or slow roll in traffic. Any ideas on what's causing this? TIA
I'm having the same beeping from my 2004. I feel it has to do with a failing battery or alternator?? Not sure, but it beeps at random times. I see the VSC TRAC light come on too. Any resolution to the original post? Thanks!

I have had a few experiences with what I assume is the traction control system. Last winter, I was pulling out and turning and must have been on some ice and the system engaged itself until I got moving along and it disengaged itself. Another time, I hit a patch of black ice going about forty and it sounded like the scene in Black Hawk Down where a UH-60 gets hit in the tail rotor with an RPG and all the warning lights and buzzers are going off. The last time it happened when I must have accidentally bumped one of the the switches on the lower left side of the dash and it felt like when my GMC is in Low FWD. I saw the light on the dash and guessed what happened and got it back to normal by messing with the traction switch.

I got a new battery and all of the beeping went away!
