Default Bilstein 5100 install time?

Can anyone tell me about how many hours an Indy shop should charge for to replace only the OEM struts/shocks with bilstein 5100's? I'm being quoted 4 hours, which seems like a lot just to sway out fronts and rears.

I'm considering Bilstein 5100's for my 2008 GX470, my Indy shop wants 4 hours labor to install. Seems like a lot of time to me, anyone care to comment?

Assuming youre talking about front and rear, thats about an hour per corner which seems about right.

Get some additional quotes and compare. There's no way that internet people like us can know how productive your local shop is.

Reviewed labor guide. 2.4 for front struts and 1.0 for rear shocks. This is without kdss.

Thanks everyone for the input. My indy shop has always been straight with me about repairs, The labor quote just struck me as high for these struts/shocks. Glad to get some clarity/piece of mind. Thanks again,
