I have seen several post on here referring to shocks and or struts and have noticed people seem to be confused as to which is which. So I thought I might be able to clear that up.
The main difference between a shock and a strut... a strut is a structural part of the suspension system, where as a shock is not. We do not have struts on the rear of our GX, we have shocks and air bags ( those of us with OEM Suspension ). So referring to the rear suspension as a “strut” is incorrect.
Hope this helps anyone who was unsure or just didn’t know.
