Default Window lines

I'm looking for a solution for a problem with the these horizontal streaky lines that appear on the windows every time I put them up or down. Very hard to clean off also.

I don't get them on mine.
Are they on the inside or the outside of the glass?

You most definitely either have felt strips that are either dirty or your weatherstripping is scorched. This will cause dirt marks across your window. I would suggest you start with the felt strips using a liquid base non carnuba spray was and a toothbrush to clean them up and wipe them dry. These felt strips ride along the window and so many times I see people lather their door panels with armor all or some other oil base protectant, and they get it on this strip. Causes marks as you are describing.

If if this isn't working then the actual rubber that meets both sides of the window is cracked and needs to be replaced.
