My 2006 GX470 seems to have developed a fluid leak of some kind. I'm thinking by the look it's oil (very clean and I recently changed my oil). Attaching a couple pics, any help identifying a likely culprit? I'll have to jack it up to get under things, but seems to be around the area of these pics near the bolts. This is the passenger side.

 

A recommendation would be to go to the self service car wash, spray that entire wheel well and all you can reach on that side with foamy engine cleaner, let it sit several minutes, then pressure wash the entire side very well removing all traces of the oily substance. once complete, monitor it and if you park it in a garage park your front tire area on card board so you have a map of drips etc.. and less mess to clean up....

Try and avoid getting water on the alternator.

OP - once you have this resolved, think about getting the splash panels replaced on the passenger side. Like all GX's of this age, yours have gone brittle and fallen off.

What color is the fluid? Coolant is red. Power steering will be black unless it's very fresh.

Power steering is ATF on these, so it should be red if clean, black if dirty.

Pull the plastic engine cover off so you can actually see your engine, and have a look around with a flashlight, this might be really easy to spot from above as it would appear to be coming from high up in the engine bay.

Make sure your oil dipstick is pushed all the way into the tube and you're not just getting spray out the tube under engine load, as that's the only thing on that side of the engine related to an oil change that could be a source.

 

Do the engine mounts on the 2UZ-FE have liquid centers?
