UPDDATE: Just got my GX back last night. It wasn't the transmission (thank goodness)! I had hand washed my truck the day before all of my problem started. The technician said that water had gotten on the rear park brake shoes and had rusted onto the rear brakes, which had apparently caused the brakes to seize up. They also said my rear brakes were pretty worn. I have always hand washed all of my vehicles since my first car at 16 yrs old and have never had this happen. I went into the GX forums and found this exact situation on a thread in 2013 called "Brakes Locked Up After Washing" (sorry I don't know how to paste it over here). But anyway, she's up and running again! Thanks to everyone that helped me! You guys are great!!!

I would never have thought that - engine power is almost always enough to break loose the flash rust that builds up from washing, or leaving it parked at the airport.

Glad you got it fixed!
